Amineko cat

I tried the free pattern from http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mite/diagram/crochetedCat.html. Initially I crocheted a blue and brown amineko cat, but somehow it doesn't look nice, I am new to crochet so I guess I must be miss out some part from the pattern or the colour combination just doesn't look right, so I decided to make another pink one, this time it turn out better. Will try harder next time.

A small bag

A small little bag, so sweet so pretty.

A little something for little girl

Sewing is really fun! See, i am making some dresses for my little niece. I found the dress pattern from a Japanese craft book, I made one with batik fabric, one with yellow flower linen and the other with polka dot cotton fabric. Try to
Visualize my four years old niece put them on, it will be very cute. I guess.

Five stones games

Five stones is a traditional games that many of us played when we were young.  This games is played with five stones or pyramid triangular bean bag filled with beans or rice. Remember when we were young, we used to play during recess time, girls will gathered in class room and held friendly competitions on class desks, who gained more point won. Back then almost every girl made her own set.

These days fewer children play five stones games. Chelsea have lot of free time after her PSLE Exams now, taught her how to sew the five stones and a small drawstring bag to keep them, hubby play along with us, to my surprise, he is quite good at it. Hahaha...

Drawstring bag

This week I am sewing two drawstring bags for Marcus since he is so jealous over Chelsea's bag. I made these bags with $2 waterproof fabric from Daiso, the print is super cute and cheap. It is very simple and easy to sew, and good for him to store his 'gong fu' uniform on every Wednesday's CCA. The small drawstring pouch will be good for his calculator and electronic dictionary.
